This morning we met our friends Aaron and Amy and their son Kaden at Davis Farmland. Leo absolutely loved it, and since it was Mother's Day weekend the Farmland was honoring mothers by offering them free admission to the farmland as well as a complimentary massage! We didn't know about either when we arrived, so both came as a pleasant surprise!

Jules was happy nestled in my ring sling the entire time, and Leo enjoyed running around. But since I needed a place to keep my bag with all our stuff in it, we brought our double stroller (thanks again Mom!)
I got some great shots of some peacocks! The male is the colored one, and the female is the white one (click on photos to enlarge them):
We especially enjoyed meeting the baby goats who happened to be born on Jules' birthday!

The farmland featured lots of little playgrounds which Leo really enjoyed...
While Leo and Ben were playing in the playground with Aaron and Kaden, Amy and I sat in the park while I nursed Jules. Then she was kind enough to burp him for me!

By the end of the morning both boys were exhausted. Jules fell asleep on my lap (click on the picture to enlarge it and to catch a glimpse of his auburn hair...very exciting for the mama of baby Leo who was totally bald for nearly a year!) and Leo napped for several hours once we got home (enabling me to actually make this blog entry)
We had an excellent time and will definitely be returning this summer! We are so fortunate to live only 15 minutes away!
