Last weekend I invited some of my former students back for a reunion. Since my classes run for 12 weeks, the students form a special bond. It's also a huge blessing for me to be able to meet their babies! Not everyone was able to make it to this reunion, but we hope to make it an annual event. This class was also very special to me since I was pregnant with Jules at the time I was teaching them. So not only was it neat for me to meet their babies, it was also neat for them to get to meet baby Jules! (who wound up being the only boy in the group!)I must say that I am really loving being a birthing instructor. It is so rewarding. This morning I returned home to a very nice voicemail from two of my students who had beautiful births over the weekend. I am so proud of all of them, and wish them all the best as they begin their journey as new parents!
