Leo's First Visitors

We came home 6 hours after I gave birth, which means we got home around 9:00 a.m. yesterday. It was so much fun making the phone calls announcing Leo's arrival! We decided not to find out if we were having a boy or a girl, so it made it extra special calling everyone and saying "It's a Boy!" Below is the first picture we took of Leo. He is one day old and snuggled up in his Boppy pillow.


This was how my mother (a.k.a. 'Grandma Jeannie' who was Leo's first visitor) met him - curled up in his Boppy pillow fast asleep. She cried when she saw him. This is a picture of Grandma Jeannie holding Leo for the first time. Isn't it precious?


Our friends Aaron and Amy (who are expecting their first child in March) came to bring us dinner last night. It was so nice to have dinner taken care of since I wasn't really in the mood to cook after having given birth only a few hours earlier :-) Below is a picture of Aaron and Amy holding Leo when he was not even a day old. We thank them for delivering dinner to us, and we look forward to returning the favor when they welcome their own baby boy in March!
