The weather is getting cold here, and Leo and I are getting stir crazy staying in the house. So we've been exploring different play areas at various malls across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I've also been meeting up with some friends at the Mall well before the shops open so we can power-walk and let the kids play in the play areas. It certainly beats the treadmill in my opinion :-)
Ben joined me on one of my Mall trips last weekend, and took Leo into a store where they met a friendly robot...
We ended our Mall excursion with a scrumptious lunch at The Cheesecake Factory, one of my favorite restaurants. The avocado rolls satisfied my pregnancy craving quite well :-) While we were waiting for our food, we took turns taking pictures with Ben's new iphone. After his car crash, I decided to give Ben his Christmas present early (the iphone). Ben had a regular phone before, but misplaced it...being pregnant, I must say that I very much like the idea of being able to reach him now! Below are some of the photos we took with his new phone...

those mall play areas look awesome! I have never seen anything like that at any of the malls around here!! We are getting stir crazy too! I am running out of ideas on how to occupy him! What sort of stuff do you guys do when you are home??
What flavor cheesecake did you have??
When I'm home I try to invite friends over. He usually does better when there's another child to play with or just someone else there besides me. If it's just the two of us, he expects all of my attention, and it's very draining! Another reason I'm looking forward to having another baby!
You're brave about germs, Rebecca! I am so miserable when John is sick, those public play areas (kid gymnasiums, etc.) are just not worth it to me . . . so far anyway.
Not that it probably makes much of a difference, but I do use hand sanitizer on Leo before and after.
