We discovered a beautiful fresh water pond down the street from our house! I'm normally not a huge fan of ponds, but this one is truly lovely and very quaint. After discovering the pond, it quickly became a summer routine for me to pack up the boys around 4:30, pack a picnic dinner, and head to the pond to meet Ben on his way home from work. One time Jules even stayed asleep on top of one of the picnic tables (in his car seat) which meant that Ben and I actually were able to take a swim together with Leo which the three of us really enjoyed. One day Ben's sister Josie even came with us. Ben even took Leo to the pond this afternoon while I enjoyed some alone time with Jules and prepared dinner. We'll definitely be going back and thank the Niall family for cluing us in on this hidden gem!
