Surprise Visit from Uncle Mike and Cousin Curtis

We had the most wonderful visit with Ben's Uncle Mike and Uncle Mike's son Curtis from Wisconsin! Ben's sister Josie happened to be in town also, so I invited everyone over for dinner - chicken picatta and homemade macaroni and cheese.

Leo and Curtis got along FAMOUSLY. We had never seen Leo get along with another child so well! Leo was copying everything Curtis did and kept asking for Curtis once he left! It occurred to us that Leo and Curtis are 2 years apart, and Leo and Jules are only 18 months apart. This means that in a few years Leo and Jules will be running around the house and playing like this, and they'll be even closer in age. There are days when having two babies so young seems very difficult, but it was so nice catching a glimpse of what we have to look forward to in this house...a house filled with little boys (and big boys) and the immense joy that comes along with raising sons.
