It's been a while since I've blogged about Home Preschool, and today was a particularly good session for the boys, so I pulled out my camera to capture some footage...

Today the teacher brought over some stacking peg toys made by Discovery Toys. They seemed like really simple toys, so I was surprised to see how well the boys took a liking to them. The teacher then took an egg carton, broke it in half, and let the boys use it as a peg-board which they loved. She taught them how to count the pegs, stack the pegs, and then how to stack them in color patterns.

Amazingly, Jules took to the counting really well. By the end of the 30 minute-long activity, he was able to count to SEVEN! This is a HUGE leap for him since he isn't very verbal, and 21 months is young to understand the concept of COUNTING! Way to go Jules! He was SO PROUD of himself, which you can see in the video below :-)
