Part of our bedtime routine with Leo involves reading him a bedtime story. His favorite book is "Pat the Bunny." I read it to him last night for the first time, and he enjoyed it so much that Ben read it to him again tonight. It amazed me how interested a 4-month-old could be in a book. "Pat the Bunny" is a touch and feel book, and Leo was fascinated by the different textures. It was so cute to watch. He kept pointing at the bunny and feeling the different textures. When I snapped this shot, he looked up at me. Sorry to disturb you son, but mommy just couldn't resist!

What good parents. Reading makes great minds.
My gosh, he looks like a big boy!
Say, how do you put the cartoon caption on a photo like that?
Katherine,
Yes, Leo is a moose. No doubt about it. The boy looks bigger to me every day!
I'm glad you like my first attempt at a comic. I'm not really sure how I did it. I was up last night waiting for Jamie to go into full-fledged labor. I got bored and started fiddling around with the applications on Ben's Mac. There's one called "Comic Life" which is the program I used to create it. Then I had to bring it into Photoshop to crop it. Here's a link to the app:

Oh Rebecca, I remember when Aunt Judy gave you Pat the Bunny! What fun!
Pretty soon Leo will be ready for Goodnight Moon, another classic.

Awww! He's precious! What a little love. Kiss those cheeks for me, please!
