Leo's First Cold

It appears that our little bunchkin has come down with his first cold.  His symptoms started three days ago, and we decided to wait it out since he didn't have a fever.  Yesterday, when his symptoms seemed to be getting worse and not better, we called the doctor first thing in the morning.  Ben took the morning off from work, and we took Leo to the doctor at 11:00.  The doctor examined him and thinks that it's just a bad cold or something viral, so no medication was prescribed.  Last night we were up with him nearly all night again.  He was having trouble lying on his back, because the mucus would settle in his chest.  His nose is stuffed up and his eyes are runny, but the doctor said that his goopy eyes were just a symptom of the virus.  Here is a picture of him, taken this morning, clutching "blankie" whom he insists on having with him wherever he goes.  If you click on the picture, you might be able to see how goopy his eyes are.  Poor bunchkin :-(
