My Playdate with Erin

This morning Leo and I went to Erin's house for our Friday playgroup.  She made a wonderful salmon soup for lunch. My friend Erin has a son, Benjamin, who is only 10 days older than Leo. Leo got to play with all of Benjamin's toys.  Below is a picture of Leo enjoying Benjamin's Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumparoo.

I was joking with Erin, because Leo has the same exact swing (pictured below) at our house and doesn't seem very interested in it anymore. However, at her house, he was loving it! I am noticing that the more we get out of the house, the happier Leo is. Over the past few weeks, he has become so much more social, and loves a change of scenery.  I am so happy that the Spring weather is finally here so we can go outside for walks and get some fresh air!

Also, don't Erin's wood floors look beautiful?  They're so shiny! Mine are so dull in comparison. She claims that it's because her floors have been treated with polyurethane more recently, but I'm convinced she has a special secret she's not telling me!

Erin's sister-in-law, Kerry, stopped by for a little while with her 3-month-old daughter, Amelia, who is absolutely adorable.

The 'playgroup' ended up being a play date between Erin and myself who played a really cute game called "Pass the Pigs."  Benjamin napped upstairs the entire time, while Leo played with all of Benjamin's toys. When Benjamin woke up, Leo fell asleep.
