Happy Birthday Erin!
This afternoon Leo and I met my friend Erin, her mother, one of her four brothers, and baby Benjamin for lunch at Applebee's in celebration of her birthday. In the photo above you can definitely see Benjamin eyeing Erin's sundae! Leo and Benjamin are now old enough to sit in highchairs, so it's nice not having to lug the car seats from their travel systems into restaurants with us every time we go out to eat! We all had a wonderful time. Happy birthday Erin!

I carried John in the infant car seat one time and one time only. I absolutely hate doing that. It's so un-ergonomic and ridiculous for women, who lack upper body strength. I ended up always transferring John into my wrap and just carrying him around like that, so he was always glued to my chest during meals. My in-laws used to make so many thinly veiled comments about why I wouldn't put down my infant. Oh well. :)
