Sledding at the Abbey

Even though we're in the middle of a blizzard here, we thought we'd make the best of it and take Leo sledding for the first time. Being stranded in the house with an energetic toddler can be difficult, so Ben was nice enough to spend nearly an hour shoveling a path for us outside and shoveling our cars out of their parking spots. We then headed over to the Abbey where we met some friends of ours for an afternoon of sledding and hot chocolate. 

Thank you Grandma Jeannie for the snow pants, jacket, mittens and boots from LL Bean. As you can see, everything fits him well!

Louise, a long-time friend of the Abbey's who knew Ben when he was Leo's age, offered to give Leo a ride on her electric wheelchair! As you can see from the videos below, Leo loved it!

Tonight we're expecting another 4-6 inches of snow! Winter is officially here!
