Freezer Recipes: Gorgonzola Burgers
Ingredients
3lbs of Ground Beef
5 Ounces of Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
1/2 cup of fresh chives (minced)
1/4 teaspoon of Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce (optional)
1 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons of kosher salt
1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce
12 Bulkie Rolls (toasted with a little butter)
Directions
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, gorgonzola, chives, worcestershire sauce, buffalo sauce (optional), salt & pepper. Either cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, or form into patties and place in a 1 gallon freezer bag for later use. If serving immediately, form burgers into patties and place on an oiled grill for approximately 10 minutes (5 minutes per/side). If cooking from the freezer, place directly on the grill for 20 minutes or so (until meat is cooked). Toast buns with a little butter and enjoy.
