Go Broncos!

Our local Jr. Midget football team (the Shirley/Ayer Broncos) has made it to the National American Youth Football championship which is being held in Orlando, Florida. Way to go Broncos! Gregory, my friend Erin's younger brother, is on the team along with several other young men we know from our church. The coach wanted the stands to be filled with Broncos fans when the team arrived in Orlando, so he provided very generous accommodations for friends and family members of the Broncos. Erin and her baby Benjamin decided they would take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity. Leo and I woke up early this morning and drove Erin and Benjamin to Logan airport in Boston which is about 1 hour away. It was so cute having the boys in the back seat. Erin and I were pregnant together, and it seems like just yesterday we had been driving to McDonald's after Mass in our first trimester of pregnancy talking about how nauseous we were. Anyway, I am very proud of our local Junior Midgets football team, and I will be tuning in to watch them live. Go Broncos!

After a crazy week in Florida we managed to place 3rd in the Nationals! Mr. Eramo said they were some of the hardest hitting games he has seen. There was alot of competition and emotion, and it was a fun time Ill always remember.

P.S - Senior Midget, not Junior ;)

Dear Greg,

I thought you were too big to be considered a Jr. Midget! My apologies! CONGRATULATIONS! We are so proud of you! What an accomplishment!
