I have a list of decorating items I'm always in search of...on the cheap that is! Decorative throw pillows are one of those items, especially since my children are rough and messy with them...I wanted nice ones, but I also wanted ones that I wouldn't cry about if they became stained or took a beating...I found some! Our local thrift store had a bunch, and everything was 30% off on the day I shopped...they were $1.99 each, though at 30% off...so they came out to be a little over $1 each! So worth it! And they were all properly sanitized, in case anyone is wondering :-) A few of them were even new with tags though, and were only on the shelf at the thrift store due to tiny manufacturers defects...such as a pulled thread, etc. I had priced out brand new pretty throw pillows online and I couldn't believe what even the discount stores were charging.
