Dirt Devil Kone

I was eying my friend Amy's Dirt Devil Kone hand vaccum last month. Ben noticed, and got me one for Christmas! (For those who are curious, he got me the Champagne colored one, which happens to be the one I wanted!).  It currently resides in our living room and looks so sleek and stylish.  It's super powerful, and I use it everyday. This morning I vacuumed the entire downstairs bathroom using my Kone alone!  It's also great for underneath the baseboards, which my regular vacuum cleaner has a hard time getting under.  Speaking of my regular vacuum cleaner, for some reason I have such a hard time mustering enough energy to pull it out when there's only a few crumbs on the floor.  The trouble was that those 'little crumbs' would turn into larger messes of crumbs the longer I procrastinated.  The Kone has helped me tremendously!  Thank you Ben!

How fun! After reading your comment about this on my blog, Chris snuck out late at night and bought me the Dirt Devel broom vac. I love it. It's soooooo cool. It makes cleaning up the kitchen floor really easy.

What a great husband you have! Kudos to Chris!!!!!! Yes, I think FUN and FAST are the keys to cleaning. It's the only way I'll get things done. I'm too much of a perfectionist and procrastinator to have it any other way. I also recently brought a radio into the kitchen. I've been listening to upbeat songs while I clean, do dishes, prepare dinner, etc. which has helped me stay in the kitchen and get things done. I've found that chores are so much easier when you're listening to upbeat music!

I got a Black and Decker dust buster too :-) Must have been the thing to get this year! I have to say I haven't opened it yet, but I've been anxious to! Esp. with all the crumbs Olivia leaves behind!
