This week Leo began grasping things. He used to be able to hold onto things for a few seconds, but he would quickly drop them. Now he is able to hold onto things for long periods of time. His new favorite toy is the wooden Haba rattle Aunt Judy and Uncle Bill gave him for Christmas. Thankfully, it is also one of mommy's favorite toys since it's wooden and not made in China. (For the record, I am referring to all of the plastic toy recalls from China, not putting down Chinese people).
I couldn't resist the hat. I bought it at Gymboree for $3. Our baby boy has outgrown his little newborn caps. Since the weather here in New England is absolutely frigid, and the hat was too cute, I simply couldn't resist!

Such a cute hat! Isn't it cute when they begin grasping things? Then it's funny to watch that they actually do not know how to consciously let go of an object, even if they want to. That's the next accomplishment.
Leo, you are just a cutie pie! Those cheeks could swallow a person whole:-) Your hat is very sharp. I look forward to reading more updates as you grow! Happy days to you and your mommy and daddy
