I Am Now a WAHM!

Well, folks, I am now officially a WAHM which is internet jargon for a "Work-at-Home-Mom!"  On Saturday afternoon I received a call from one of my favorite professors at Boston College in the patristics department.  While I was a student at BC, I helped this professor with a project on the ancient ecclesiastical writer Arnobius of Sicca.  The paper I assisted her with was published by the Institutum Patristicum Augustinianum in Rome! On Saturday she asked me to assist her with a new project on St. John Chyrsostom.  The paper I will be helping her with will also be published in a periodical produced by the Augustinianum.  I am very much looking forward to working on this project, as my old professor both understands and supports the fact that Leo comes first, and that any work I do must revolve around his needs.  This is truly an answer to a prayer since even though I have learned more about God in my short time being a mother than I have in all my years spent studying philosophy and theology, I must admit that my brain does miss the exercise!

What an incredible opportunity! You must tell us more when you can.
Congratulations!

That's kind of fun! I hope it works out while juggling Leo. I took some editing contracts in the last year and sometimes it worked, sometimes it was a disaster.

Hi gang...you all look wonderful and it sounds like your lives are full and joyous! I am sooo glad to read that you will be able to keep your adult mind busy with your project with your BC professor. That sounds very exciting (and congrats on the publication BTW) and will definitely keep you sane when things are crazy (in a good way-always)...Love the links you have included on your blog. You've inspired me to include more on mine. http://longponddogs.blogspot.com is my link.

Peace and love to you all! Give an extra squeeze to Leo for me...he is a doll!
