Yesterday Adrianne and I went to Coggshall Park in Fitchburg with the kids. Neither of us had ever been there before, and it's less than half an hour away! I had heard really nice things about it though. Ben actually uses it as the location for many of his photo shoots when he is photographing the products for the catalog. Coggshall Park is known for its swans.
We also spotted 4 turtles enjoying the sunny weather on a log...
And one turtle was kind enough to pose for a close up...
Adrianne put Baby James in her Moby Wrap and I put Leo in my Ergo and we went for a hike through Coggshall's walking trails. Adriana will be four in August, so she enjoyed running ahead of us through the trails. We stumbled across some eggs (goose eggs, perhaps?) on our journey.
And what park is complete without an ice cream truck? We didn't get any though...the line was too long!
When I woke up this morning, my legs were actually sore (in a good way) from the workout! That's always the best way to exercise. I had such a fun time chatting with Adrianne and enjoying the scenery that I didn't even feel like I was exercising! Also, with a 20 pound baby strapped to me, I get even more of a workout! Coggshall Park is truly a hidden gem. I will definitely be walking there again! Would anyone care to join me?

How lovely! Any chance those were turtle eggs? I'd think goose eggs might be in more of a nest.
Could be!
