I can see it! You know, I find it fascinating that teeth, in particular, come in at *such* disparate times among babies and it's perfectly okay. For example, one woman in my Bradley class didn't get her first tooth until 18 months old and now her daughter didn't get her first tooth until 18 months old! And then you have those rare, bizarre babies who are born with a tooth!
I have been wondering (and even my mom thought maybe) if Ben is teething early because he is drooling like crazy and constantly putting his hand in his mouth.
Jamie: Sadly, infants especially seem to teethe for a VERY long time before a tooth actually cuts. I think the tooth buds are moving at glacial pace beneath the gums, causing pain for a long time before the tooth appears. So, he might indeed be teething, but it might just be the beginning of a long road.
Yes, I second that, Katherine. Leo started showing signs at 4 months, but his tooth didn't actually cut fully through until just before his 7 month 'birthday.' His friend Benjamin on the other hand had his bottom teeth fully at 4 months, and now has top teeth also at 7 months! So you never know!

I know! I was thinking about that the other day!

He is so adorable! Really, that baby should be on a magazine or something. I have never seen any baby with a brighter smile than Leo!
