Last night we went to dinner at Aunt Lise's house in Cambridge which is about 45 minutes away from our house. The dinner was in honor of my Aunt Laurie and Uncle Steve's visit since they live in Florida and we don't get to see them nearly as much as we'd like.
I wish I could report that Leo was on his best behavior, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. He was SUPER cranky and every time I tried to nurse him down thinking it was because he was tired and needed to go to sleep, he wouldn't fall asleep. So Ben and I basically took turns tending to Leo while the other enjoyed 'grown up time' with the family (not to mention dinner!)
In the picture above, Grandma Jeannie is feeding Leo some pureed sweet potatoes I brought with me, and in the picture below, Aunt Laurie is giving him "bunny ears!" HAHA

At the very end, Leo was happy though. Aunt Lise and Ben made him laugh. So at least we left on good terms with a smiling baby, as opposed to a baby screaming as we walked out the door! It was GREAT seeing Aunt Laurie and Uncle Steve (as always), and we can't thank Aunt Lise enough for the delicious gourmet meal she made.
