A Walk in the Woods

Today was another gorgeous day in Massachusetts! I called up my friend Adrianne and asked if she wanted to go for a walk with me through the woods in Still River behind the monastery. There is a little chapel the Brothers built hidden in the woods, which is a nice destination to hike to on a nice day.

I carried Leo in a front carry in my Ergo for the entire walk.  It was surprisingly comfortable (I say surprisingly because he now weighs 20 lbs!) Leo enjoyed the fresh air.  Since he was born in New England at the end of September, he really hasn't had very many opportunities to commune with nature!

Above is a picture of me walking with Adrianne's daughter, Adriana.  Leo is in my Ergo.

Here is a picture of how far we walked.  If you look closely you can see the little chapel hidden in the woods.

Below is a close-up of the chapel.  Isn't it lovely? I think it would make a very romantic wedding chapel!  There's just room enough inside for a bride, a groom, a priest and two witnesses!
