Get-Together at Lindsay's House

Lindsay was kind enough to host Friday's get-together at her house even though she's due to have another baby next month!  We all had a great time!

I'm happy to report that little Leo has now reached another important milestone!  Our baby boy is now able to sit up for extended periods of time all by himself!

Leo and Benjamin enjoyed playing together, although they had trouble sharing.  In the picture above they look like they're playing nicely with the drum, but a few seconds later Leo began to cry when Benjamin took the drum.  Then Leo had the drum to himself and Benjamin began to cry.  Erin and I had our first lesson in teaching the boys to share.

Our friend Andrea came with one of her son Nicholas (her other two children, Elizabeth and Matthew were at school).  I snapped this great shot of Andrea and Nicholas:

Leo was fussier than usual since one of his bottom teeth just broke through, but right before we left he fell asleep.

Thanks again Lindsay for hosting such a wonderful get-together even though you're 8 months pregnant!  Chrissy - you were missed, and we hope to see you next time with Olivia and baby Naomi!

Rebecca,

Leo is simply gorgeous!! My husband saw him last night and thought he was precious, too. What a smile he has! You are doing something perfectly perfect with him.....I don't think I've ever seen a happier baby! And you are fortunate to have such a nice group of likeminded friends with children so close in age.

Leo really does look like such a big boy sitting upright, wearing his Robeez.

Thanks, Katherine. His Robeez have little pirates on them. I bought them for $12 brand new at a yard sale at our Church! We call them his "pirate booties," LOL.

I second Lindsay's comment. I just got my post-up of the same event.
