Happy Birthday Grampy!
In honor of Grampy's birthday, we took him and Ben's brother Michael to breakfast at a little coffee shop/diner.
The weather was really nice, so Leo was able to wear a short-sleeved outfit outside for the first time!

I was able to snap a good candid shot of Ben and Leo laughing. I like this picture, because they have the same smile! You can also see one of our cars in the picture. The sticker on it says "Urban Safari" which is an appropriate name!
Here's a close-up of the sticker on our car (there is one on the driver's side, the passenger's side, and one on the back of the car). The car is a Honda Element and one of their models is called the "Urban Safari." Given our last name, how could we resist?
Later that evening, we went over to Grampy's house for a movie night. In honor of his birthday, I whipped up some sauteed scallops served over linguine in a lemon piccata simmer sauce. The meal was served with salad and biscuits. It was a beautiful day, and below is a picture of the scenic view from Ben's father's house. Thank you, Grampy, for an all around wonderful day!
